A Heartfelt Goodbye, and a Lasting Light

Hope Heart Doorways began with a simple idea that creativity and compassion could bring comfort and healing to women and children affected by domestic violence. While the organization never grew into all I once imagined, the purpose behind it was always real to help others find hope in dark places.

After careful thought, I’ve chosen to formally close Hope Heart Doorways, Inc. Though the nonprofit is concluding, the heart behind it continues through the creative and motivational work I share within the community.

Remaining funds will be distributed to organizations whose missions align with ours, supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence and hardship. With the current climate and growing needs in our communities, I chose not to pause for restructuring but instead to allow those funds to go immediately to where they can do the most good.

If you wish to continue supporting similar missions, please consider contributing to these local organizations that carry forward the same spirit of hope and care:

  • YWCA Rock County – Providing shelter and advocacy for victims of domestic violence

  • Edgerton Community Outreach – Offering housing and emergency support for local families in need

  • Project 16:49 – Helping unaccompanied youth build stability and independence

Hope isn’t ending, it’s simply finding new doorways.

Thank you for caring, for believing in kindness, and for keeping hope alive in our community.

With gratitude,

Kimberly Reiter
